Founder and CEO

Mark F. Kaplan produced the pre-Broadway tryout of Are We There Yet? starring Donna Murphy when he was 23, launching an entertainment career that now spans over 35 years across talent management, coaching, creative development, and production. His film and television credits include Broadway BoundRosencrantz and Guildenstern Are DeadThe Water EngineCooperstownThe Heart of JusticePercy and ThunderThe Habitation of DragonsAmelia EarhartThe American Clock, and the stage pilot Legionnaires, which featured a then-unknown Dave Chappelle.

Mark is currently working on a number of theatrical projects. Opening this fall at The Triad in NYC is The Dog Show by David Javerbaum (Tony nominee, two-time Grammy winner, 13-time Emmy winner). Next spring, We Should Totally Hang Out by David Javerbaum and Zina Goldrich (Drama Desk nominee, Fred Ebb Award winner) will open Off-Broadway. Also in development: a stage production and film adaptation of Jim Leonard's The Diviners, and several other works from David Javerbaum, including The Devil You Don't. Mark was recently a co-producer of the Broadway production of Celebrity Autobiography and Andre de Shields is Tartuffe.

Among his numerous directing credits are productions of Lost in YonkersBiloxi BluesTo Kill a MockingbirdLove Letters (with Tony Dow), DeathtrapDoubtSide ManDanny and the Deep Blue SeaHooters CabaretThe 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and The Great American Trailer Park Musical. He also recently directed Me, Myself and Other for the United Solo Spring 2026 Festival at Theatre Row.

Mark has served on numerous nonprofit boards, was a founding board member of the Albert Einstein Academy, and is a current board member of Broadway for Democracy. A graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, he served six years on its Alumni Board and was recently honored with the Citation of Service Award.
